YOU OUT. GOOD LUCK.New HeadlineCrack loose (don't remove) the water pump pulley bolts then use a 10 inch adjustable wrench and rotate the idler pulley arm CCW to relieve the tension on the belt. The tensioner arm has a boss on the casting that can be used to seat the wrench. I have seen some arms with a 3/8" square hole cast into the arm to accomodate a breaker bar drive instead of having a boss with flats. Relieving the tesnion will allow the belt to slip off the grooved pulley.
Remove the belt, remove the pulley nuts. This will allow access to the pump mounting bolts. I think there are 3 or 4 10mmm bolts.
Where is the water pump on a 1995 olds cutlass supreme?"
Take the inside door panel off and the water deflector paper and you will be able to see the window motor.
It varies by engine.
On the front of the engine.
Low coolant? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating water? System airbound? Radiator plugged or restricted? Thermostat not fully opening?
The 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra thermostat is located on the front of the engine. You can follow the water supply line from the radiator to the thermostat housing.
I put a 1972 350 old's engine in my 1984 cutlass supreme. It had a 307 and the swap went smooth. It bolted rite up to the turbo 350 transmission also. The engines have the same block so the weight difference was no problem. My cutlass is for sale if you know anyone that is interested. My #573-692-3558 The motor has 20,000 miles on a complete rebuild. Water pump, alternator, carburetor, distributor all new with the rebuild!

It depends on what engine you have. They are all on the front of the engine some are under the timing cover. Get a manual on your car from the parts store.
Open the hood. Facing the engine from the front of the card, look on the left side of the card...near the cooling system overflow bottle. To the right of the area is the drive belt. In the lower area you will see the two hoses for the cooling system fluids that connect to the water pump. The drive belt goes over a pulley that drives the water pump.
I have an 89 Olds Cutlass Calais SL...and you add coolant, very slowly, to the reservoir on the passenger side of the engine compartment. A little coolant, a little water, a little more coolant, a little more water...you get the idea. mixing the antifreeze 50 / 50 to start with will cut down on the confuse...tuner1978
If the gauge is reading hot and the car is running normal temperatures, the water temperature sensor needs replaced.

It doesn't have one. A pickup coil would be found in a distributer, and that car does not use a distributer. There is crankshaft position sensor located on the front of the timing cover, and there may or may not be a cam position sensor, located under the water pump area depending on whether it is a Delco system or a Magnavox system.
