GO TO WWW.AUTOZONE.COM AND YOU'LL NEED TO PUT IN YOU CAR INFO AND WHAT NOT AND IT WILL TELL YOU HOW TO GO ABOUT REMOVIN THEN INSTALLING YOUR WATER PUMP, IT ALSO SHOW'S A PICTURE TO HELP YOU AS WELL. YOU OUT. GOOD LUCK.New HeadlineCrack loose (don't remove) the water pump pulley bolts then use a 10 inch adjustable wrench and rotate the idler pulley arm CCW to relieve the tension on the belt. The tensioner arm has a boss on the casting that can be used to seat the wrench. I have seen some arms with a 3/8" square hole cast into the arm to accomodate a breaker bar drive instead of having a boss with flats. Relieving the tesnion will allow the belt to slip off the grooved pulley.
Remove the belt, remove the pulley nuts. This will allow access to the pump mounting bolts. I think there are 3 or 4 10mmm bolts.

The 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra thermostat is located on the front of the engine. You can follow the water supply line from the radiator to the thermostat housing.
Around 180 to 190 degrees fahrenheit.
I put a 1972 350 old's engine in my 1984 cutlass supreme. It had a 307 and the swap went smooth. It bolted rite up to the turbo 350 transmission also. The engines have the same block so the weight difference was no problem. My cutlass is for sale if you know anyone that is interested. My #573-692-3558 The motor has 20,000 miles on a complete rebuild. Water pump, alternator, carburetor, distributor all new with the rebuild!
