I've never heard of the charge of "Domestic Disorderly Conduct." If that is the same as DOMESTIC VIOLENCE or DOMESTIC ASSAULT - then there is very little chance. Check with your local law enforcement authorities.
Start by finding an attorney. You will need one to apply for a restoration of civil rights. This may be granted only if the person has satisfactorily completed their sentence, is not longer under supervision, etc.
Start with hiring an attorney- you will need one to file a petition for restoration of rights.
The right to bear arms.
can I in the state of Missouri with a non violent felony conviction 10 years ago get my hunting rights back
no, felon can't be with any boys or girls under 21.
no
A felon isn't going to be permitted a firearm for any reason.
If you mean hunting with a firearm, a convicted felon loses the right to possess a firearm. The felon MAY petition the Governor for restoration of rights, but it is not an automatic process.
I'm not sure if a felon actually loses hunting rights.?? Gun ownership rights yes, but I think a felon can still hunt, archery, etc. Other than that you would have one choice.....lawyer, and petition the court to reinstate rights. This may be a possibility depending upon the nature of the felony. It has been done before. Not likely, but possible in some cases.
If the felon had his or her gun rights restored (meaning he or she didn't commit a violent crime), a hunting license may be purchased. Without gun rights restoration you can't get a hunting license because the way the law is written, someone without gun rights can't possess any kind of a weapon including a bow.
Texas does not grant hunting rights to illiterates
no they can not. I am trying to get my brothers hunting rights restored. you have to petition the circuit court to have rights restored... .. good luck
You need to consult with a lawyer who is familiar with firearms law.
In Mississippi, one must not have been convicted of certain crimes, stay out of trouble for 7 years, return to the sentencing court, and request restoration of your firearm rights ...for hunting purposes.
