i was told by the local dealership that gm no longer makes the intermediate steering shaft grease kit. instead they sell a newly designed replacement shaft (about $80 here). here's a link to explain how it can be done and subsequently how you can replace your faulty unit yourself. its quite simple.

an alternative to the OEM replacement unit is to hit up a company called borgeson. i know they have a beefier replacemnt unit. sorry i haven't a link or price for that.
i got my unit replaced on my '03 under warranty even tho i was about yr out of warranty, however i had a well documented history of problems with my original steering shaft. in fact mine was lubed twice, replaced, lubed again, and then replaced again, at which time my warranty ran out. i lubed that final one once myself before having the new design installed. you might try begging your dealer. its worth a try.
it has been over a yr now with the factory replacemnt and I've had no problems even with oversized tires but had i not gotten mine replaced for free i would have gone for the borgeson.
were is the cam shaft sensor
10mm
That year don't have one.
YES.
It is on the transfur case tail shaft.
It is in the disturber itself.
It will be screewed into the transfur case tail shaft housing. Where the drive shaft slides into it.
Most modern vehicles have none or very few. The bearings are sealed for life. Look on the ball joints, tie rod ends, and the drive shaft U-Joints. It may or may not have any.
Yes
Had one built for 1995 Chevy silverado z-71, rear, 65" balanced with my yoke, $275
Check your crank shaft sensor
If it is a 4-wheel drive theit will be on the rear of the transfur case where the drive shaft goes in it. The 2-wheel drives are on the transmission tail shaft.
