There are these things called Magnetacks that will hang up your carpet without damaging it. They use magnets so they don't actually puncture or damage your carpet in any way like tape or thumbtacks would.

∙ 15y agoA pocket of heavy cotton is sewn onto the back across nearly the full width and a metal rod is threaded through it. The rod attaches to brackets on the wall. You should not use point fixings like rings as the weight distorts the carpet.
