How do you help an already active child lose weight?

I'm 11 and want to maybe lose a bit of weight just to be a bit healthier how about doing extra curriculum clubs maybe dance, basketball or something like that. Or maybe nice walks as a family? Eating more fruit & veg would help.

Lay off the sweets and about 6 bottles of water per day :)
