The large one from the positive side of the battery attaches to the large post mounted on the starter solenoid and a smaller purple wire that attaches to the small post on the starter solenoid marked "S". The small post on the starter solenoid marked "R" is not used with that vehicle. Any accessory power wires would also attach to the large post on the starter solenoid.
It is on the top of the starter. The solanoid is what the starter wires hook to.

To remove the starter motor, disconnect the battery first. Take a picture, if possible, so that the new starter can be put back in place the same as the old one was. Disconnect the wires and remove the starter bolts. Remove the starter and replace with a new one. Hook up the wires and the battery.

First take the positive battery cable off, then remove the wires that hook to the starter and remember were thay go. Then remove the 2 bolts that hold the starter to the block. Then install new starter and hook every thing back up. No big deal.

un hook the negitve on the battery. then unhook all the wires from the back of the starter solenoid. then put the two bolts that hod the starter to the block, should be out after that.
Un-Hook battery- Unhook wires off old starter. (should be 3 wires ) some are 4 If unable to access wires take starter off first and then take off wires, Unbolt starter- will slide forward towards front of vechicle- and replace new starter everything vise-versa-- Don't worry because their is No way to put it in wrong because it will only GO in (1) way.. Note: U may want to mark your wires- so that you know where to place them when you put the new starter in.
First locate starter, once you've done that, then disconnect battery, go back to starter and lossen the 3 bolts that hold it in place, place with new starter hook up wires accordingly, then reconnect battery.
