yes there is a fuse in the fuse box. the wire will lead to it or to the ignition switch. But the fuse to amke the hot wire hot is in the under dash mounted fuse box.

Ground wires are usually white or black. You're talking about a vehicle I'm not familiar with personally, but, with the key in the "ON/ACC" position, the engine off, and the transmission in reverse, it should actuate that circuit, and you can verify that it's the hot wire with a test light.
