Some things you can do are: 1. New spark plugs and air filter. 2. Straight pipe exhaust or no baffle muffler like extreme series cherry bomb muffler to eliminate back pressure.(actually does work) 3. Correct air pressure in all 4 tires. 4. Drive normal and don't abuse it.(Stay 60 mph and below) 5. Change oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles. Cleaner oil, better mpg. 6. Take your end gate off and put a net on.(or nothing if you prefer)
