Fairly easily, definitely DIY.
1. Disconnect all wire looms that connect the wires to one another. (Wires currently installed on your car.)
2. Disconnect one wire at a time from your engine and distributor/ignition. As you take one wire off find the comparable sized wire that came in the Accel pack. Note: Since its the universal set, they may be the same length. Install the new wire in the old ones place BEFORE moving to the next wire. This prevents firing order confusion, which can be a pita.
3. Repeat this for each wire until they are all replaced. When your done make sure your wire are clear of all exhaust components and moving engine parts, i.e. cooling fan.
Also, sometime its hard to tell if the wire seated on the spark plug, make sure you can feel some metal to metal contact when connecting.
You may want to consider replacing the spark plugs at this time as well.
Good luck!
Use AC/Delco spark plugs. The wire choices are numerous. Ask for OEM type plug wires unless you are racing this vehicle. In that case ask for Accel performance plug wires.
Nothing
Any good quality plug and wire set will be fine for this car. There is really no need to buy real expensive plugs and wires for this vehicle. Accel makes good plugs and wires.
find the wires and do one at a time as too not cross wires with different plugs
call me 5 dollars each
no special order just one at a time
Plug all the wires up right and it should work
No the spark plug wires have to be in firing order
One at a time, even if they are made into the cap
start by removing one wire at a time. Replace it with the closest length matching wire. Do this one wire at a time. What ever you do, don't pull all the spark plug wires at once. You might not install the wires in the correct order. good luck.
Try buying a new set of spark plug wires and install them one at a time.
Mark and remove plug wires. Remove spark plugs and install new plugs. Reattach plug wire to correct plug.
