There are 2 sets of connectors. One has red, black yellow and blue wires. red is power, black is ground, yellow is memory (I believe for time etc.) and blue is auto antenna. The second socket has 10 wires + and - for each speaker. So for four speakers you will have 8 wires. The remaining 2 need to be connected to complete the circut. If you are not getting any power after connecting the power and ground wires. You need to connect other 10 wires that goes to speakers. I believe 2 out of those 10 wires are responsible for the complete connection. I tested and it worked ont he existing cassette player. Now I have to figure out which ones are for front and rear speakers and the remaining would be the one that need to be connected somewhere.

Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1989 Toyota alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Remove the alternator belt. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
Connect the wiring harness to the back of your 1980 Ford CD player. Secure the CD player with the retaining screws.
