First thing to check is the pcv valve.
On one side of the intake manifold, touching the cable tubing going to the right wiper motor.
It's a small valve located between the top of the valve cover & the air intake connected by a rubber hose!!
It is a filter for the pcv system.It is a filter for the pcv system.
There is no PCV filter on that car.

your pcv valve is directly in front of the intake manifold silver unit that goes between the intake manifold and the throttle body it will have a connector coming from it. what this does it stops the engine from stalling and balances the idle. so as long as the check engine light is not on dont worry about it.
In the valve cover.
change your pcv filter and pcv sensor that pops into your valve cover
The PCV valve on the 4 cylinders is typically located on the back of the valve cover to the right, near the intake. Hyundai has the service manuals on line see related link below.
Remove the PCV valve retaining screws. Remove the PCV valve hose. Reverse the process to install the new PCV valve.
