You will need to connect the tach to a ground and +12v source, the signal wire will have to be connected to the ground on the coil. Since the truck is fuel injected, you will likely have to find a way to wire it in with the connector on the coil.

I've a 91 B2600i and yes I'm actually in that process now. No aftermarket parts are made vehicle-specific for this project. I'm customizing my manifold exhaust for the downpipe, and currently determining which turbo kit i need to use. You'll wanna match it up with your cold-air intake pipe and go from there... Good Luck!
B2600 has a carburetor system and B2600i has an injection system.
