The bottom strut mount is connected to the frame by two retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts to remove the strut mount. Reverse the process to install the new strut mount.
There is one on the front passenger side and a torque strut on the front. The torque strut acts like a motor mount.
Could be a loose or worn strut or strut mount
You can replace the strut cartridges without removing the entire assembly. Simply jack up the front of the vehicle, and rest it securely on jack stands. Remove the top cover plates covering the strut towers (held on by three nuts). Once the plate cover is off, remove the upper strut nut, and remove the rubber mount. You'll need a special die-tool to remove the strut cartridges.. Remove the old ones, install the new. Torque them to the proper spec. Re-install the mount, the upper nut, and the plate cover. Torque all nuts to the proper specs.... ENJOY!!! You can replace the strut cartridges without removing the entire assembly. If the Strut Bar is a GM Performance Parts Strut Bar then you have to purchase a set of end brackets. The same front strut bar can be mounted to the rear with a set of rear strut brackets. http://drcustomparts.com/HomePage.htm More info at w-body.com

Use a strut spring compressor to compress the old spring, the remove the strut from the spring. Use the compressor to put the strut into the new spring. Install the strut and spring into the vehicle.
Sounds reasonable to me.
the same as every strut mount. to hold the struts
All Toyota Camry's have struts in the front. This is also accompanied with strut mounts and bearings that are located between the mount & strut. I highly recommend replacing the mounts & strut bearings with the struts. My experience has shown that the mounts fail before the strut.
You will need to compress the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am strut spring with a spring compressor. Remove the top and bottom strut retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new strut.
It is as simple as removong 2 bolts and replacing the mount. Goodluck, JOe
