i am assuming v8? if the original motor then its a mechanical one mounted on the passenger side of the motor towards the front right above the oil pan its held in with two bolts u will want to make sure u have wrenches that will fit in their test their fit and movement first b cuz some v8's fuel pumps are lined up so that they are level with the framerails so theirs limited room to work, u will want to first remove all fuel lines, be careful some may be rusted and break when undueing them, after that undue the two bolts and pull the fuel pump out SLOWLY as their is a push rod in their go to fast and the pushrod may fall out not a big deal but it may be hard to find, if u even knew it fell out, when u put the new one in push the push rod UP with a srewdriver and hold it up as u put the fuelpump in making sure to put pump rod under the pushrod then slide the fuel pump in letting the push rod down , if u dont put the push rod up either it wont fit wont work or the pump will break in cluding the push rod. tighten the bolts, no specific torque and reattachfuel lines
