I just replaced mine a month ago. There are two sensors, one on the engine and the other is under the car right before the catalytic converter. The one on the engine is next to the rear spark plugs. It's almost on the steering column. Use a slotted socket to allow the socket to go over the wire that comes out. I got my socket at Sears for $15. It's labled as an oxygen sensor socket. For the one under the car you can use a 7/8th (if I remember corectly) wrench to remove it. This is about a 30 minute job.

The oxygen sensor on a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am is found near the catalytic converter. It will be place on the piping which leads to the catalytic converter.
Put gas in it.
The 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix oxygen sensor is located on the outside of the air filter housing. You will find the sensor on the back side of the air filter housing.
To answer this i will need to know whatsize engine you have.
