you have to disconnect the a-frame from the wheels drive mechanism buy taking off the caliper and removing drive nut. then lower the a frame by disconnecting the lower a-frame bushing from the a-frame be sure to have jack under the a-frame because you probably need to disconnect the lower strut connection bolts and lower the the jack to give enough play once ths is all done turn the stering wheel to the left or right. which gives you more play on the axle then push the axle gently into the trans and the wheel side will come out. then take the other side out of trans and put the axle on the floor. the other answer but in reverse. i wasn't paying attention i thout you sai tke the axle/ half shaft off. my appologies.
The alternator on your 1999 Nissan Maxima can be found on the front of the engine. The alternator will be on the right hand side of the engine.

There are several things that can cause your Nissan Maxima to pull to the right. The most common reason is the wheels are out of alignment.
You can find the alternator on the front, right hand side, of your engine. Remove the cables from the alternator. Remove the belt. Remove the retaining nuts. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.

i like to bleed them from rear passenger to front driver then rear driver to right front but if its abs brakes i was told to bleed both back then both front
