they are in the doors. the regulator is what makes it go up and down and is attached to the window motor.
You probably wont. Chances are, if your window doesn't go up and down right, you have a broken pulley in the window regulator assembly. This is common and requires the replacement of the window regulator.
Need instructions on how to replace a manual window regulator on drivers side on 1995 saturn
yes
check the following; fuses, relays, regulator, window motor, off track, window switch. did not specify if it was manual or electric.
remove back seat, remove screws bottom and top of panel, remove panel. remove 3 bolts and motor arm, window and regulator will pull out.
by opening the inside the door
Place the regulator in position and engage to the guide channel.Secure the regulator to the door (you may have to plug it in and lower the window the slightest bit to get it to line up)with rivets and a rivet tool.(you can use small screws but they can work their way loose so I don't recommend it) If the regulator won't line up, use the switch and let the window down slightly. Plug in electrical connector if you didn't already. Tighten all the channel nuts nd reinstall the door panel.
Other than taking the door panel off and disconnecting the window from the regulator, there isn't any way to raise it manually.
This is not an easy job. Get amanual on your car and it will give you the correct procedure and the job will be done correctly.
Yes, the car was exactly the sam for those years. Usually, the car parts comply until they change the body style completley. Or, buy a universal automatic window regulator. Patrick
If it is hard to roll up and has no broken regulator, you can spray silicone lubricante in thre tracks.
