No. To remove the widow its easiest to remove the outside panel
In almost all makes of car you have to replace the window regulator. That's the entire mechanism that holds the window and raises and lowers it.
Unfortunatley they no longer come off track. You window regulator has probably broken. you'll have to remove the door panel and replace the regulator assembly.
My boyfriend took off the outside door panel by removing screws along the inside of door so that he could replace the window.
