How do you install fuel pump in a 2000 Kia Sportage?

I have a 2001 Kia Sportage and the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. There is an access panel under the rear seat on passenger's side. I got at mine through the trunk side. There is a piece of carpet.. like a flap that covers the access panel. Once the carpet flap is lifted up... you unscrew 4 screws and remove metal panel plate. You can then see the fuel pump area on top of the fuel tank. You then remove 8 small screws on that and disconnect the 2 electrical plugs. The plate has some rubber pins holding it down. I used some pliers and pulled the rubber pins up and out. There is a retaining ring below the plate.... very thin. I used a small crow bar and hammer to knock the retaining ring counter-clockwise to unscrew it. You will have to find one of the small notches in the ring in order to grip it with the crow bar or whatever you use. After the retaining ring unscrewed.... the plate just popped up! Pull the entire assembly out of the tank and the fuel filter will be in the middle of the huge plastic cylinder-looking thing. The "sock" is located on the bottom of the pump. Make sure to replace this too.
