Use the bracket that comes with the blinds. Go to the hardware store and buy some 1/2" self tapping metal screws with a hex head. The end of this screw acts as a drill bit and -after spinning on the metal for a while - drill a hole for itself into the metal. Use these to install the blind brackets and then just pop the blinds headrail into the bracket.
