Remove the right wheel, remove the splash pan, put a jack under the engine, loosen the mount, jack the engine upa couple inches, remove the mount from the engine, replace the new one, let the engine down, bolt it back to the frame. GOOD LUCK if you've never done it before.
If you have, it's relatively simple. Got any "mechanically inclined" buddies?
There are four engine mounts, one in the front, back, left and right. A real pain, unless you remove the engine to install.
Remove the lower bolt on the engine mount housing, then remove the spacer. The belt will slip right through.
Motor mount for a 2000 Ford Focus 2.0 SOHC costs right around 51.99. Plus 150.00 labor fee.
right side of motor where the engine mount is
there are 4 engine mounts - left, right, front, and rear
depends on which engine it has. If it is 3.4L Twin Dual Overhead Cam version the engine is very tight against firewall. The engine mounting leg on top of the engine has to be removed and install a special jack in its place to jack the engine away from firewall, essentially rocking the engine forward so a skinny hand can reach down behind the back bank of spark plugs. You can also unbolt the two top engine mounts. After doing so pull the mounts back. Reinstall the left bolt in the mount bracket. Using a crow bar on the left bolt pry the engine forward just far enough to install the right side bolt into the second hole on the right mount. This will hold the engine forward and you can then get to the back side of engine. (Note: this is on the 3.1L engine)
Depends on the vehicle. There is one on the passenger side which is the front of the engine, but could be considered the upper right. There may also be one at the front of the car that connects to the radiator support that would be the front one.
sounds like the right front motor mount .i replaced mine and the clunking sound went away

You have to unscrew front right engine mount from bottom and lift engine (not remove).
On the 2005 GMC Envoy, the block heater is right above the left side engine mount. If you turn your tire's fully to the left you can see the mount right above the motor mount.
If you are referring to the serpentine belt, you have to dislocate the engine from its mount on the right side and slip the new belt under the mount and onto the path designated by the decal near the front of the engine on the right side.
