First go to SPARKPLUGS.COM to see what the correct plug is unless you are replacing them with the identical plug.
Some are gapped plugs and some are gapless. Depends on the model engine. If they are the gapped type make sure the gap is set correct for that engine.
Installing them is the reverse of removing them.
Here is a useful trick. When you are about to screw them in, turn them counter-clockwise as if you were trying to remove them. As you turn them you will pass a spot where you feel a little click. This occurs when the threads are correctly aligned. As soon as you feel the click, stop and begin to turn them clockwise. This way you will avoid cross-threading them and damaging the engine's plug holes! Most are aluminum (to save weight) so do not over-tighten them! Just snug them down. Reattach the wires.
