sync your iPod normally so it backupsthen unplug it, got to settings>general>reset and reset itthen sync your reset iPod to ituneslet it restore and install 2.2.1 firware but DONT SYNC YOUR SONGSgo to the iPod folder in iTunes and un check "open itunes when device is connected"the open quickpwn and follow the instructions..... they have forums that have ways to help if your stuck, but after your done let it restart and there you go
