To jump start a diesel vehicle with a flat battery? you can, just make sure the voltages on both vehicles batteries are the same. I believe if the alternator is not performing as it should the diesel engine may not operate as electric fuel injection will not operate.
the batteries are mounted on the right hand side of the frame behind the passanger door there is a jump start terminal behind the second battery you will need a floor jack to change the batteries as you have to drop the batterie boxs down off of the frame to get at them

Jump start car and ensure alternator and battery are good.
You can use jumper cables, but cars with automatics shouldn't be towed or pushed as an attempt to start them. It can damage the transmission.
Yes, as long as they're of matching voltage. You can't jump off a truck with a 24v electrical system from one with a 12v system.
The diesel battery is bigger as it take a lot more to get a diesel engine going. Best bet is to charge the diesel battery using the petrol, connect the 2 and leave the petrol engine running.
Easy take it into a car shop like Crossroads..
You can jump start a gasoline powered car by using a diesel powered auto. The only thing that must be remembered, is that the batteries must be the same voltage(12 volt). And make sure that the jumpeer cables are connected to the right posts. Red to red & black to black. brewski
Diesel engines have such a high engine compression ratio, they require a more powerful starter, which in turn requires more battery power. That is why diesels have two batteries.
if the motor is spinng over then starter is ok
