make sure you see the other person as much as you can. send them a txt that will make each other smile everyday and just try and contact each other as much as possible and also try msm video calling.

Answerok if you're tryin to do long distance the best way is to communicate, like go on skype or get Yahoo or msn messenger. write letters, call them through the phone, or actually go to the place they're at and visit them. You could surprise them as well :) but if you really love the person, try to make it work

I saw this, and I like it... Me and my boyfriend (as of January 1st, 2011!) are basically in love. Last night we talked on the pphone for almost 4 HOURS! And we said we love each other... If you really love the person you need to really try and make it work. To get closer to them even if they're far away you should call them, talk to them on skype (i think skype is the best way), get yahoo or msn messenger and talk 2 them, write letters, or actually show up and visit them for a week or however long you can. If you communicate with them then the 2 of you should be just fine and it should work between the two of you.

You may meet someone off a board such as this one and hit it off. You generally start emailing each other and talking about your likes, dislikes and interests and perhaps exchanging pictures of each other. If you are an adult then you could interview different 'Couple's Clubs' that set you up on dates, but be sure they have a good safety record. There are a lot of lonely people out there.
