I would invest in a bark collar. These collars emit a smell, noise, or shock that startles the animal. These do not hurt the animal in any way, but they are annoying. When a dog barks, they are immediately emitted so the dog will learn soon the barking is bad.

∙ 12y agoOkay, I just got my new Yorkie and he is so sweet! I was very excited but my biggest concern i had was that he wouldn't be able to sleep in his kennel. The first night i put him in a kennel beside my bed. He started barking and i didn't talk to him but said "honey, honey, honey" over and over in a whisper voice. Keep it on the same note, and just talk regular, when i talk sweet to my Yorkie he tends to get happy and want to move around. Eventually after about 3 minutes of barking and dint hear a sound out of him the rest of the night!
