I would invest in a bark collar. These collars emit a smell, noise, or shock that startles the animal. These do not hurt the animal in any way, but they are annoying. When a dog barks, they are immediately emitted so the dog will learn soon the barking is bad.
Okay, I just got my new Yorkie and he is so sweet! I was very excited but my biggest concern i had was that he wouldn't be able to sleep in his kennel. The first night i put him in a kennel beside my bed. He started barking and i didn't talk to him but said "honey, honey, honey" over and over in a whisper voice. Keep it on the same note, and just talk regular, when i talk sweet to my Yorkie he tends to get happy and want to move around. Eventually after about 3 minutes of barking and dint hear a sound out of him the rest of the night!
its not barking its grunting meaning its scared or angry
Old riddle....put him in the front seat.
Your Labrador male dog should start barking at strangers when it is at least 12 months old.
This depends on the individual dog. Barking can start as young as 5 weeks, but some Shepherds are simply not vocal. Not barking is not a bad sign.
Old Yeller was able to save the family by jumping and barking at the bears

An old superstition says to turn one of your shoes upside down if your sleep is disturbed by a barking dog
You train them not to bark. I don't recommend those anti-barking machines though. They bother me more than the dogs. I would however recommend getting an empty soda can and putting some pennies or whatnot in it. You seal the top of the can with some tape, and every time the dog barks you shake it until they stop. You want your dog to connect his barking with the "bad" noise.
My border collie is becoming very agreesive. he is 8mo,old he is barking and chasing with nipping please help. thank you
If it is an old dog, then it may become deaf, and not like the world to be quiet.
