I'm not quite sure if you mean the family 'is married to her' because they like her a lot, or that she has married someone else in the family. However, it doesn't much matter because you are going to have to face family gatherings from time to time. It's a tough one because your husband cheated once and some say 'once a cheater always a cheater', but I don't believe that. If you and your husband have gotten over the hurdle of his affair with this mistress and all is well you are going to have to simply trust him at some point. If he is family orientated (tight with his family) and you refuse to go to family gatherings this will put a large wedge into your relationship. I say give him some rein and see what he does with it. If he's going to flirt or look like he still wants to see his mistress this is the time you kick his butt out the door.
