Unplug the fuel line going into the fuel filter (inside the frame underneth the drivers seat). Careful unplugging it because some fuel will squirt out.If you turn your key to the on position (not cranking the engine) then fuel should squirt out of the fuel line you just unplugged. If your having trouble getting fuel to the engine, then it could also be the fuel filter. It is recommended to replace the fuel filter each year after about 70,000 miles.
Check the fuse first. I had a similar problem - no fuel pump pressure. Turns out the fuse was good but the contacts for the fuse were corroded. Cleaned them and all worked fine. Better than replacing a fuel pump!!
