if TOB screams when you press the clutch it is bad.
if it collapes the clutch will be very hard to control.
if it desecrates, no more clutch at all. no shifting.
pull tranny ,
replace PP, disc, TOB and pilot bearing ALWAYS as a set.
5hours out and 5 in , max.
i pull motor faster. do in 3out and in. record time.
depends if car is 2wd , 4wd, (xfr case is extra work) but pulling engine makes the above line not true
exhaust removal, driveshaft removal, shifter boot and shifter removal, transmission removal, removal of pressure plate and clutch disc, suggest replacing pilot bearing and replacing slave cylinder, removal and turning of flywheel, suggest replacing throw-out bearing. a full clutch kit will come with new pilot bearing, pressure plate and clutch disc, and throw-out bearing. generally a two man job
The easiest repair is to replace the engine. Otherwise the crank shaft will need replaced/remachined and the connecting rod will need replaced. Basically a complete overhaul.
you have to pull the axle completely out of the rearend and the bearing is on the axle and you have to press it off the axle to get it off and press the new one on.
you might have put the clutch in backward........
the wheel bearing will wear out. worst scenario, is the whell will fall off causing considerable damage ,maybe even a wreck. can also cause bearing to get hot , and weld bearing race to axle stub, requiring replacement of this hub it is not a big or expensive job to have a wheel bearing replaced. the ABS sensor is not on the bearing and will not need replacing if you replace the bearings
Any bearing making noise more than likely needs replacing.Any bearing making noise more than likely needs replacing.
Center bearing should be replaceable after removing driveshaft
Because there is a problem with the ABS. Replacing the brakes and wheel bearings will not fix this problem. Seek professional help to diagnose the problem.
no need to replace wheel bearing unless the wheel bearing is worn out
THE BEARING ASSEMBLY IS NOT REMOVABLE FROM the hub. It's replaced as a unit.
Have you tried replacing the tensener pulling, it has a bearing inside it that should allow the roller to spin. They are not very expensive.
you have to get the whole hub assembly replaced, usually 4-5 hours of work If you have a press, you can pop the old bearing out of the hub and press a new one back in.
