Best Answer

DNA sequences contain the nitrogen bases adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine. RNA sequences contain the nitrogen bases adenine, uracil, cytosine, and guanine.

If the sequence contains thymine it is a DNA sequence if it contains uracil it is an RNA sequence.

no

What rna sequence is transcribed using the DNA sequence agc-tac-act?

The sequence of the RNA would be UCG-AUG-UGA.

Is aggcguc a sequence of DNA?

No DNA sequence wont have U (uracil), so it is an RNA sequence!

Which produced during translation ribosomal RNA transfer RNA proteins DNA?

copying part of the nucleotide sequence of DNA into a complementary sequence in RNA is called TRANSCRIPTION

Where is the information in DNA and rna carried?

The information in DNA and RNA is carried in the sequence of the nitrogen bases.

What would the HIV viral sequence of AUCUU be converted to and by what enzyme?

The HIV virus is an RNA virus, so you know the sequence AUCUU is the RNA sequence. (You also know it is RNA because it contains uracil.) HIV is a retrovirus, so its RNA will be transcribed to DNA by the enzyme reverse transcriptase and then inserted into the host's genome. The RNA sequence of AUCUU would be transcribed to TAGTT.

What is an exon's role in DNA?

The exon codes for the opening sequence of DNA for protein synthesis. It is a sequence of nucleotides that code for the RNA to begin transcription of the DNA to RNA protein.

How do you write an RNA sequence if given the DNA sequence?

Bases A and T link together and C and G link together. If your DNA sequence was, for example, ATCGAGT your RNA sequence would be TAGCTCA.

Rna molecules are produced by copying part of the nucleotide sequence of DNA into a complementary sequence in rna?

transcription

What is the correct sequence of the transfer of information in most organisms?

Dna to Rna to Proteins

What are exons and introns?

Intronsare intervening sequence of DNA; does NOT code for a protein.Exons are expressed squence of DNA; codes for a protein.

What is the corresponding sequence to the base sequence TACCGCTT?
