You can tell by how many switches are on the overhead console. If it has two sliding door switches, both doors are power.
the switch is on the door panel approx four inches from the window, this is the only switch that sends power to the window regulator motor (window motor).
The wiper switch on a 1998 Chrysler Town and Country gets power from and is an input to the body computer.
If one takes a look at the schematics of a 1994 Oldsmobile silhouette minivan, one can see a fuse block, washer switch, and windshield wiper. There are also the power input, washer control, motor ground, and circuit board.
The first and cheepest thing to check is the fuses. located on the side of the dash by the passengers door, another is under the hood on top of the battery. The next would be lock switch. It is easily installed, no tools needed. The drivers side power switch is a master switch. This means that power feeds from the drivers lock switch to the passenger door. If your key fob will unlock and lock the doors but the switch will not I would replace the drivers door lock switch.
I was looking at the 2004 Ford Freestar Owner Guide and it shows that the SINGLE switch for the power vent windows is located on the dash ( but not where on the dash , not much help ! ) The switch has " VENT " on it
The 1993 Ford Bronco power door lock relay switch can be found behind the dashboard on the drivers side of the passenger compartment. The relay switch should be labeled as such.
There are numerous switches involved in the power liftgate. Please ask a new question with a more detailed description of the problem.
I assume you mean the issue is with all doors wont lock or unlock, not "open" as in a issue with power slider door operation. If no power door lock operation exists from switch and key fob a body computer flash called out in a factory technical service bulletin may fix. I'd start there first if the symptoms match.
Power doors were an option, so not all Windstars will have them.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW I START MY TRUCK I PUT THE KEYS IN THE INGNTION AND I HAVE TROUBLE STARTING IT I BELIEVE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SAFETY LOCK
Can you give us some details? What's wrong with the sliding doors? Are they power sliding doors, or manual? power side doors and back lift gate are power. power sliding door not align
if some doors are not unlocking, i would test the door lock master switch you migh also check that the master switch is not locked fords have a lock/unlock swith on the switch panel to stop all other doors working easy way to test master control switch is to remove switch from door, and disconect the wire plug in. use a jumber wire to cross the terminals to each door from power supply if the switch is bad, each door will unlock when crossed. so if doors will unlock this way, replace switch other than that the only other problem i have found is the actuators inside the doords. these are a pain to replace and are not cheap as each door has one. try the switch first
