It some cases the mistress is just being used and there doesn't tend to be feelings involved however, if you are trying to give him another chance and are forgiving him for doing such a thing then you should trust him and what he says about how he feels for her now and don't bring it up anymore - if your forgiving him to save your marriage leave the past in the past and move forward.

When it comes to our husbands and their mistakes, we were given a test whether we are strong enough to handle problems that we never ask for. Because of these our world change, we need to be the stronger one, we as wives needs to be the understanding one, and when it comes to love, we supposed to forgive because of our emotion.
For you to see or even feel if your husband had feelings for his mistress, your the only person that knows your husband before he had his affair. You can use your senses that was given to you. Never doubt your instinct, its like our guardian angel. As a woman and a wife I do know how you felt, been there, done it, and even I lost at least its not me who made the mistakes. If your husband didn't love the other woman he will not be with her for months.
