How do you know if your timing belt is going on a 2002 suzuki xl7?

umm.There is no belt, it is a chain they pretty much last till the rest of the Jeep is dead(generaly) what to watch out for is, if you start to get a constant engine rattle sound it could be the Tensioner for the chain which is going ,and should get attention ASAP.
