You can't really know for sure unless he tells you, or you come up with some proof or evidence. Of course, if he comes home with lipstick on his collar, or smelling of perfume, then you should certainly be suspicious, and ask him what the explanation is.

If he is just spending long periods away, or coming home late from work, then you should talk to him about it. If your relationship means anything you both have to be open and honest.

He starts to act different around you. He keeps to himself more than usual. His sex drive is not like it used to be.Oh yeah if you do the classic cell phone test then you definitely know. This is what you do, first ask him if you could use his phone cause yours is off. If he says "no" then that's a red flag. Another test is actually something only he can do on his part and that's if he sends you an explicit photo out of no where and when you text him back about the photo he doesn't really engage in conversation about it. The last test which is a classic if your man is a texter. All you do is check his inbox and outbox if he only has recent txt mssgs of you two then that's a big red flag(but only if he is a text addict). Finally if he is busier than usual and always putting off plans to see you he is more than likely with someone else.
