snac ecm for codes then using code data you can determine which sensor kbutlrtech@Yahoo.com
the stereo in my 2000 Chevy Malibu is in lock mode and i don't know the codes, how do i unlock it?
What do you need to know ?
If you have the know-how and know what will be required, just take them apart and swap the waffers to the new one. If not, a locksmith can do it for you.
I know I saw a routing diagram in the engine compartment of my 2000 Chevy Malibu. Yours should have it too unless too worn. I think it is near the belts/front of car.
as far as i know ,there is no fuse, it works off lighting curcuit.
If it's not leaking it doesn't need additional fluid.
Brake pads have audible wear tabs that make a screeching noise when the pads need replacing, some luxury cars(all bmws) have sensors that let you know when they need replacing.
4 to be exact. and there is one in each exhaust manifold, one before cat and one after cat. gm Jim
Well . . . you know the problem was not caused by a bad catalytic converter. You could experiment with replacing your oxygen sensors, next . . .
It would help to know the sensor that needs resetting.
O2 sensors measure the amount of O2 in the exhaust so they are usually right after the exhaust manifold(s). I do not know Nissans but usually they will screw out. HTH
If the truck has California emissions it will have a total of four o2 sensors. On normal 2000 Dodge Durango 4.7L models, there are only two, one front and one rear located immediately in front of (on driver side exhaust just below manifold) and directly behind the catalytic converter located in the middle of the vehicle underneath. I know that a lot of part stores claim two front sensors. This is WRONG, as I have just gone through the process of replacing them, including verifying the count from the local Dodge dealer...Should take about one hour to replace them...Good Luck
