I like to know how many vehicle speed sensors there in 2005 honda pilot and where are they located? thanks, chad
Yes, and I would like to know where the fuel pump is located.
Kinda.... an 03 Malibu has some updated parts and sensors and a slightly better engine but overall they are like 98% the same... The '99 and older Malibus are much more diffrent than 01 and newer 03 Malibu LS owner
I have a 99 millenia myself and it has 4 (four) 02 sensors, and each go for around 200-450 in price. I don't really know where they are located though, but i do know they can cause your check engine light to come on and flash from time to time, as well as the car hesitating and feeling like it is going to stall.
It is called an accellerometer. Electrons located in a chip with sensors in all directions on it move due to gravity. The sensors know which way the device is pointed, therefore changing position of the screen
air fuel ratio sensors are in the exhaust-they are like oxygen sensors but work differently
speed sensors are located on front hubs remove the wheel and you will see what looks like a serated disk the sensors are located adjacent to these These sensors are for the ABS and do not control the speedometer. The vehicle speed sensor is somewhere on the transmition or transfer case. Exactly where I am also trying to find out.
The smog pump is located behind the headlight on passenger side of car in the 1999 chevy malibu v6 3.1. I know this cuz mine is "possessed" and doesnt like to shut off. I actually had to unplug it. Of course inspection is coming and i will need to replace it soon.
i would like to know what would cause the miss firing in Chevy Malibu
There are 2 oxygen sensors one upstream and one down stream. Both oxygen sensors are located underneath the van. The down stream oxygen sensor is located behind the cataylic converter near the cross pipe and the upstream oxygen sensor is located in front of the cataylic converter in plain sight. They look like spark plugs with either 8", 12", or 14" wires attached to them. The upstream oxygen sensors is easily located underneath the vechicle to the front. The downstream oxygen sensor is not the one lcoated on or close to the cataylic converter.
There are two temp sensors on this car. Basically the have the same function, just for different parts of the engine. The one you need controls engine component Via the PCM(engine computer). It is located on the right side of the block around the top hose. Look for the two wire harness, for the sensor is sort of hidden. Remember there are two sensors, but i believe you need to upper one. Hope this helps
It should be centered behind the engine block attached to the exhaust. You can look directly down on it. It looks kind of like a spark plug. Let me know if you need more details.
