the Serpentine Belt on the 91 Lebaron is on Tension Pulley, you dont tighten it. But if it is loose and you need to tighten it you just go and buy a new belt and put that on.

What is the serpentine belt routing for a 1994 Chrysler Lebaron?

Hi, I have a 91 lebaron with the 3.0 v6. If it's the same, which I think it should be, there is a plastic cover under the top heater hose and distributor. This has the routing diagram printed on it. However, if it doesn't or it can't be read, take a pencil and paper and plot out all the pully's and the way the belt is routed provided it is still on the vehicle. It's pretty easy to do. It's helpful to have two people to replace, easier to keep tension on the belt when wrapping wround pully's.

How do you replace a Serpentine Belt on a 91 Caprice V8 57L 9C1?

To remove the serpentine belt use a 1/2" breaker bar to rotate the tensioner upward off the serpentine belt while removing the belt from the pulleys. When installing the new belt make sure the belt is aligned properly in the grooves of the accessory pulleys(or the costly new belt will be shredded when the engine starts). Install the serpentine belt under the tensioner pulley by rotating the tensioner upward with the 1/2" drive breaker bar. When the breaker bar is released the tensioner will keep the belt properly tensioned.

How do you replace serpentine belt on 91 Chevy G20 van?

This is an easy one. There is a belt tensioner on the How_do_you_change_a_serpentine_belt_on_a_1992_Chevrolet_G20_vanof the engine which applies tension to the serpentine belt. A small wheel rides above the belt and applies the tension. Put a ratchet and socket on the bolt found in the center of the small wheel. The wheel and arm it is attached to will move up as you apply pressure to the ratchet. It is only necessary to move the small wheel and arm a short distance in order to slip the serpentine belt from under it.The trick will be replacing the belt. If the label showing the routing of the serpentine belt is missing (usually on the air intake pipe) draw a diagram before removing the belt.

How do you change a serpentine belt on a 91 Toyota pickup V6 3.0?

You'll notice an idler pulley. One that does nothing more than apply tension on the belt. Loose the front bolt of this slightly, then access the bolt that appears to go into the backside of the pulley and loosen it slightly to reduce tension on the belt. When installation of the belt is complete, tighten down the tensioner bolt till the belt is not overly tight, about 1/4" of spring is good to avoid slippage. Then tighten the lock bolt on the front of the pulley.
