The Bible (1 John 4:7-5:2) says,
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments."
The Lord Jesus told them to confess and repent of their sins, taught them to be humble, patient, and forbearing, to love their neighbors as themselves, and to love one another, and also told them to love their enemies and forgive others seventy times seven, and so on. ∙ 8y agoA Christian is to love everybody as Christ, he is to love everybody as he loves himself. Of course, for a Christian love is not a feeling nor an emotion, love is an act of the will where one desires the best for the other person as the other person is Christ for us. Whether someone hurt you or not has nothing to do with it, you are to love everyone equally.

The reason people who love us hurt us is because everyone is first of all a sinner and therefore we hurt others in different ways. The more we let God change us, the less we will hurt others. That is life. You have to go through all ther pain before you can be happy. and when you are in that relationship you have a stronger one and it will last and you will be happy =]
