I use plain old soapy water to clean them...never get wax on them or its an ordeal to remove. To keep them looking shiny and new I use Mother's Protectant. You can also get Back-to-Black if there is oxidation.
I looked on the Elementownersclub.com and they suggested over and over, Aerospace 303. I bought it and it is amazing. Made it like new without the oily feel. Now I use it on everything plastic.
