How do you make a baby on the Sims2?

I'm not sure if you mean Sims 2 for PC or console, but I'll give you the answers for PC.

While playing the Sims 2 base game, you can "make a baby" by using the following steps...

• Make two Sims, 1 male and 1 female.
• Move your Sims into a house, and buy a double bed.
• Click on the bed (once for both Sim), and click "Relax".
• Once both Sims are on the bed, using one, click the other and click "Try for Baby"
• You may need to do this more than once. You will know if your female Sim is pregnant, because after they finish, a lullabye type song will play.

If you have the EP (expansion pack) Apartment Life, you can also "make a baby" by using these following steps...

• Once again you will need 1 male and 1 female.
• Move your Sims into a house, or an apartment. Make sure the residence has a closet.
• Click on the closet, and click "Try for Baby with [Sim Name]".
• Once again, you may need to do it several times before the lullabye plays.

Additionally, you can adopt a baby over the phone...

• Click the phone.
• Click "Call Service"
• Click "Adoption"
• You are not guaranteed to be able to adopt, it depends mainly on your monetary status.
