Well, the only thing that makes them disappear is time. Hate to tell you but that's pretty much the only thing that works. But if it helps use a moisturizer or aloe vera for the pain and maybe the redness will go down. But if using a moisturizer try to stay away from ones with fragrances or dyes. You could also get a few tea bags and some cold water and soak the tea bags in the water and then gently run the tea bags onto your skin. The sooner the better.
