How do you make friends?

Go up to the person WHEN HE/SHE IS ALONE. Ask them if they are lonely. If they are, great luck! Tell them to hang with you because you are lonely. If they agree, be as nice to them as possible. Ask them what their favourite thing to do is. Even if you hate what the like, say "I like that too! Let's do it!" BE as nice to them as possible. Hopefully they like you now!!! HAVE FUN! Be yourself.

* I know everyone says it, but it is really the best way to make friends. There is a group of people out there for everyone. You just have to find them. It took me till 7th grade to find my secure place of friends. Nothing was wrong with me, the other groups didn't feel right. So don't worry. Saying that you still will have to take control. Go sit with somepeople you don't usually, see what happens. That's what I did and I have the best friends ever. You'll have to trust me on this. * From early years til year 6 i hung around with these group of people. There was about 10 of us girls, and about 5 boys. I know, how do you get a boy to be your boyfriend in that group? Well somehow I did. But once we got into year 7, I realised they weren't the people I was destined for. They all started smoking, and 3 of the girls even started drugs. I decided at about April in year 7 that I was to stop hanging round with the 'chavs' they had become. I then randomly stood next to this girl, Rebecca, in p.e. She was so nice to me, she even let me be her partner in p.e! It was like I was a new girl in school. Me and the boy broke up in year 8 (after 5 years) but we both decided in year 7 to end our friendship with the 'chavs'. Since then I have met new best friends, Shannon, Pavan, Joanne, Annesa, Chloe, Alex and Lucy. But Rebecca is and always will be my special friend in that group.. * I have to agree with them on that one. Be yourself, if you have to lie about yourself, they are not for you! You have control of who you are supposed to be with.
