I am not saying this will work for everyone, but I dip cotton balls in rubbing alcohol and rub it on my knees every other day. The spots on my knees are fading.

This also works for some, you could rub lemon every other night then apply coco butter oil or oil rich in vitamin E to help neutralize your skin tone.
