May 20, 2010 update: There is a blog posted on "The Computer Cat's Corner" ( http://meetcc.wordpress.com/2010/03/30/need-bigger-words/ ) that shows detailed instructions on how to make text bigger for the new IE 7 & 8 plus the other major browsers as well like Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome for both Apple and Microsoft systems.
Under the address bar on your screen click on the toolbar button that says 'view'. Scroll down to 'text size' then change the size in the box that pops up to the right. You may need to close and reopen Explorer for the change to take place.
go to view on your tool bar and then to text size...
Hold down the CTRL button and then the + for bigger or the - for smaller.
If you are using internet, click view then font size but if you want things such as the font on the top of a window then go on control panel, apperance, display. Then choose the font size icon. Hope this helps!
