I can't tell you exactly, but here's a to do/not to do list;

DO:

Laugh at his jokes/humorous remarks

DO NOT:

*giggle* or *squeal* especially not a repeatedly. It's annoying, and can be read in a bratty tone.

DO:

Stand next to him [if it's a virtual world]

DO NOT:

*hug* or *kiss on cheek*

because really, no one wants to have a pixel kiss them on their pixel-face.

Overall, I would say do not do weird asterisk actions, and just be sweet. Don't try to get too intimate. If it's an online relationship, and you don't know the person in real life, you should accept that it won't go anywhere.

You can say things like: Aw, I would hug you now if I could.

That's so sweet :) I wish I could kiss you now.

But stay away from asterisks. They're so 4th grade. :)

internet relationships are for fun, and should never get intimate enough to need asterisks or fake gestures.
