I'm assuming that you are trying to do away with some kind of governor function and somehow you think it is connected to the vehicle speed sensor. First, the vehicle speed sensor is just that, a sensor. It does nothing except send pulses to the computer and possibly the speedometer. If the vehicle is equipped with a governor, I'm sure that function takes place in the computer. -In trucks 1994 and newer speed is electronically limited by the ECU and is usually set to the factory speed rating of the tires. Without going to a stand alone ECU about the only way to change it is to have a speed shop reflash the computer.
