This would depend on which window you are referring .
Start->My Computer, Tools->Folder Options->General, find the group which is called Browse Folders->Open each folder in the same window
File on the top left corner, and open new window.
Go into "Tools" at the top of the window and select "Folder Options". Under the "Browse Folders" header, select "Open Each Folder In Same Window". Click Apply. That should solve your problem

That is dependant on you folder option setting. Open my computer and click on the tools tab then folder options from tools menu. On the first page there is a choice of open in the same window or open in a new window, check the box you would like to use and you should be good.

get up an incognito window (windows seven) or an in-private browsing window (normal windows) and log onto one of your accounts. then open a normal window and log onto your other account. it makes the computer go a bit slower but it is the only way i know that works.
