Check for a hood release down by your feet when you get in the car. I believe this one is bit hidden from view but it should be down at the bottom of your dashboard. It may look like a handle or a ring. It just needs a little tug and you should hear a pop of your hood. Now go to the hood and feel around the newly created finger width opening and there should be a lever to push up a bit and the release should give way for you to open the hood the rest of the way.
Actuallly it is true you must pull the inside release by your left knee, but then you must go to the front grill where the large Mercedes emblem is. Put your hand inside the emblem and you will find your hood latch!!! I too had that problem when I bought mine. ;-)
Open the hood and reach under to where the headlights are located. Also remember to check the fuse box in case a fuse blew.
Pull the hood release inside the vehicle, go to the front of the hood and depress the latch in the center of the hood.
No not without body surgery
The latch is directly under the Mercedes sign in the front. Just reach your finger under the symbol, grab, and pull......"Walla...it's open !!! Sincerely, Dat Dude
Pull the hood release cable by your left foot.
Open the hood and you should see bolts that hold it down to the front end.
the hood is open
Wedge a screwdriver in the front to create tension on hood then pull the hood latch. It should open.
You will need to open the hood with the lever and then go to the front. Make sure it is securely opened before looking around.
It's right in front and center. It has a yellow circular handle, and is just to the right and slightly in front of the oil cap when you open the hood.
By pulling the hood release under the front of the car.
Make sure the vehicle is unlocked. There is a pin that comes down when the doors lock.
