Pull the bright red rectangular leaver located under the dash on the far left, by the drivers door. this will pop the hood, then you should be able to see the secondary leaver sticking out of the grill just to the left of center. pull this forward, and lift the hood. DO NOT lift the hood with the LEAVER, it will break off. just pull it straight forward and use your other hand under the grill, or above the headlight to actually lift the hood. if this leaver does not pop forward out of the grill when the red leaver is pulled, then it is probably already broken off and some pliers will help you to grab what's left of it.
