1. From the drivers seat look below the dash on th left side panel next to the dead pedal, and look for the tab with a white vehicle icon . 2. With your left index finger gently insert under the tab and pull gently until you hear the hood latch release. 3. Standing in front of the hood, bend slightly at the knees and look between the gap for the hood release mechanism. 4. Hold front edge of the hood with your left hand and with your right index finger gently apply pressure to the hood release mechanism to release the hood. 5. With your right hand reach over to the right top fender and disengage the hood support prop rod and place it in the slot under the hood above the prop rod to support the hood in the raised position.
